Tell us a little about yourself: what is your first name, how old are you, and what is your favorite ice cream flavor?
My name is Kathryn and I'm fourteen years old. I like I Heart Chocolate, but that's a Blue Bell flavor. We only get it when we visit my grandparents in Texas.

What book did you read and why did you choose it?
I read THE TESTING by Joelle Charbonneau. I read it because I read everything.

Can you describe this book in one word?
Riveting.

What was your favorite part of this story?
I liked the scene where they are all trapped in the zoo. I thought the way the author used animals was pretty exciting.

If you had a problem similar to the main character's problem, what would you do?
Probably die.

What would you say to your best friend to convince them to read this book?
It has a strong female character and lots of death, doom, and destruction. You know, awesomeness.

What do you think about the book's cover?
I thought it was sort of bland, actually. There's not much there. Yet it's intriguing.

Would you want to read another book about these characters? Why or why not?
I do! And have! All of them.

Can you name another book that reminds you of this one?
THE HUNGER GAMES.
